A 21st-century door bench.
Finish carpenters and cabinet installers have always needed a door buck, a way to hold a door or large panel vertically so you can plane the edges, set hardware, chisel hinge mortises, or sand the edges without fighting gravity. Most door bucks are dedicated tools that take up shop floor space and only do one job, forcing you to work in an uncomfortable position. The Door and Panel Supports quickly turn your Dash-Board, ShortCut, or Outrigger setup into a 21st-century door bench. Designed to be out of the way when you need the bench for cutting or assembly. Simply remove before folding up the legs.

02 / ADJUSTABLE
Adjustable platforms for any door or panel.
The two adjustable platforms included with each set let you accommodate doors and panels of different sizes, thicknesses, and proportions. Build a simple bridge to sit on both platforms and span the distance between them to support multiple narrow workpieces along the length of your bench, or use them alone for full-size passage doors and large casework panels. The supports mount onto your bench's existing hardware with no tools required, and the adjustable platforms support heavy workpieces while you also clamp them to the bench or Outriggers. This controls workpieces firmly, to handle aggressive operations like belt sanding or hinge mortising without movement.

Unlike most Dash-Board accessories, the Door and Panel Supports are designed exclusively for the Dash-Board and ShortCut workbenches and the Outrigger Bundle. They integrate with proprietary mounting points specific to the Dash-Board system. If you own one of these benches, the supports install in a few moments. For owners who already have the bench, this is the accessory that unlocks vertical workholding without buying or making door bucks that take up valuable shop space.
