The Universal Setup Block (USB) solves a problem every track saw user has run into: setting up a guide rail in the same position every time you get ready to work. Use USBs with our bench dogs to locate your rail for crosscuts with our Guide Rail Brackets, and use them to position our Track Stars for rips just off the edge of the bench. With them your rail lands in the same place every time you set it down. No marking. No measuring. The cut line remains the same through hundreds of setups.

Required for Track Star and Outrigger long rips.
Universal Setup Blocks are integral to the Dash-Board long rip configuration that uses Track Stars or Outriggers to locate the cut line off the edge of the bench. The Setup Blocks register identically on Track Stars and Outriggers to help you position a guide rail so you can safely cut the material and the air beneath it, never the bench, Outriggers, or Track Stars. This is why a pair of USBs ships standard with the Guide Rail Bracket Set, Pro Bundle, Platinum Bundle, and Core MFT Bundle.
